Product Overview

The Meltblown Non-woven Particulate Filtration Efficiency Tester (PFE) is designed for testing filter material efficiency in the 45% to 99.9% grade range according to international standards. This compact and lightweight tester requires only suitable power and compressed air (no water, no oil) for operation, making it ideal for laboratory and factory environments.

The testing process utilizes particle counting methodology to measure counting efficiency, employing monodisperse aerosol. Pressure drop measurements are performed at specified filtration rates. Filter paper is secured in the fixture, with test air volume corresponding to required filter speed. Aerosol generated by the aerosol generator is adjusted, electrostatically neutralized (PSL), then uniformly mixed with filtered test air before entering the test area to penetrate the filter material.

The system also measures filter material resistance during testing and allows for manual flow rate adjustment.

Key Components

Aerosol Generator: Produces high-concentration aerosols using 0.3μm PSL standard particles, with ≥0.3μm particles accounting for over 70% of total output. Provides continuous, stable aerosol generation for upstream filter material testing.
Particle Counter: Monitors upstream and downstream particle concentrations to calculate filter material efficiency.
Differential Pressure Sensor: Measures pressure difference (resistance) of tested filter material under specific test flow rates.
Imported Air Pump: Provides stable test flow through filter material with energy-efficient operation and minimal vibration noise.
Stainless Steel Fixture: Ensures proper compression and sealing of tested filter material.
Electrical Control & Software: Manages equipment circuit control, operation, software calculations, data processing, upstream concentration stability judgment, and parameter settings.
