The Copper / Aluminum / Zinc Gravity Feed Metal Detector is specifically designed for use in the plastic industry to detect and separate metal impurities from raw materials.

How the Metal Separator Works

Raw material from the hopper or feeder free falls into the metal separator. When no metal impurities are detected, materials pass directly through to the lower outlet. If metal is detected, the controller immediately activates the separation plate to divert the metal and surrounding material to the side discharge port. The manifold then quickly returns to its normal position.
